- Original 1880s era Brick facade maintained through a five-year adaptive reuse (and earthquake retrofit) restoration project
- Wood luggage racks in each room made from the original lumber that dates back over a century
- Cococabana rooftop bar’s wraparound bar made from the original lumber
- Q&A back succulent patio benches and plant holders made from the original hotel room doors and lumber
WATER
- Water-efficient toilets
- Water-efficient showers
- Option to opt out of daily room cleaning
- Option to reuse towels
WASTE
- Recycling bins available to guests and waste is recycled
- The Brick Hotel makes efforts to reduce food waste
- Single-use shampoo, conditioner, and body wash bottles not used
- Single-use plastic stirrers not used
- Single-use plastic straws not used
- Single-use plastic cutlery/plates not used
ENERGY AND GREENHOUSE GASES
- Most food provided at the property is locally sourced
- Lighting throughout property uses energy-efficient LED bulbs
- All windows are double-glazed
- The Brick offsets a portion of our carbon footprint

- The Brick Hotel invests a percentage of revenue back into community projects
